Meet Amber, the heart behind The Planted RVT. Based in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Amber is a skilled and compassionate registered veterinary technician who is deeply committed to promoting pet wellness in her community.
Her journey into animal care was sparked by a lifelong love for animals, shaped by years of hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets. That passion led her back to school in 2015 to pursue a formal education in veterinary medicine. After completing a rigorous program, she earned her degree in Veterinary Technology and became a licensed technician in 2017. Since then, Amber has been a trusted professional in the field, providing vital care and support to both pets and their families.
Over the years, she has developed expertise in several key areas, including preventive dental care, senior wellness, diabetic management, and the care of exotic animals.
Originally from Texas, Amber relocated to Ohio in 2020 and brought her dedication to animal health with her. Her work goes beyond clinical settings; she aims to be a knowledgeable and approachable resource for pet owners across the region.
Amber’s nurturing spirit doesn’t stop with animals. She is also an avid houseplant enthusiast, with a personal collection of more than 30 plants ranging from lush tropicals to hardy desert species. Her love for plants reflects her broader commitment to caring for all forms of life.

About Drew:
Alongside me is my fiancé, Drew Snyder, a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio whose presence in this community drew me here in the first place. Drew's natural affinity with animals became evident during a visit to my home in Texas before our relocation. Despite the typical hesitancy of pets toward new faces, Drew quickly won them over. Witnessing my dachshund, Camo, cozy up to him on the very first night felt like a reassuring confirmation of his genuine connection with animals.
Drew enthusiastically participates in all meet-and-greets whenever his work schedule permits. His role extends beyond mere attendance; he readily assumes the role of animal handler and distractor during our services. Additionally, he lends a helping hand with extra walks, feedings, and playtime during drop-in pet sitting sessions. As a team, we ensure that your furry companions receive comprehensive care and attention, even amidst your vacation or weekend getaways, all at no additional charge.
