Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
I provide mobile pet care services including nail trims, anal gland expressions, ear cleanings, basic hygiene maintenance, medication administration (with a prescription), and more. All services are performed in the comfort of your home.
Are you a veterinarian?
No, I am a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), not a veterinarian. I cannot diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or perform surgery. Any treatments involving medications, injections, or fluids must be prescribed by a licensed veterinarian.
Do you need proof of rabies vaccination?
Yes. According to Ohio law, all dogs and cats must be current on their rabies vaccination. Proof is required prior to any appointment.
Can you administer my pet’s medications?
Yes, but only with a valid prescription from your veterinarian. I will confirm the prescription and dosing instructions with your vet before the appointment.
Where are services performed?
All services are done in your home. Please be prepared to assist with gentle restraint if needed.
What areas do you service?
I primarily serve Summit County Ohio, and surrounding areas. However, I do have a travel fee and can travel outside my area if needed. I got as far as Medina, Cleveland and Canton.
